βοΈ IETF RFC 4122 / RFC 9562 Version 4 UUID & 122-Bit CSPRNG Architecture
Universally Unique Identifiers (UUIDs / Microsoft GUIDs) are 128-bit numbers formatted as 36-character hexadecimal strings (`8-4-4-4-12`). Under IETF RFC 4122 and RFC 9562, Version 4 UUIDs reserve 6 bits for version (`0100`) and variant (`10xx`) metadata while filling the remaining 122 bits with cryptographically strong random numbers.
DH Tools invokes your browser's native hardware CSPRNG (`crypto.randomUUID()`) to generate up to 500 collision-free v4 identifiers in a single clickβsupporting uppercase, lowercase, and compact 32-hex modes.
