βοΈ YouTube CDN (`i.ytimg.com`) Resolution Tiers & 11-Char Video ID Parsing
Every video hosted on YouTube is assigned a unique 11-character Base64-URL identifier (`[A-Za-z0-9_-]{11}`). Behind the scenes, Google's global image CDN (`i.ytimg.com`) generates and caches four static resolution variants of the video's cover frame.
DH Tools extracts the canonical video ID from any link formatβincluding Shorts, playlists, and timestamped URLsβand fetches the uncompressed `maxresdefault` (1280Γ720), `sddefault` (640Γ480), `hqdefault` (480Γ360), and `mqdefault` (320Γ180) assets for one-click download.
